Over mij
Mijn naam is Jimena. Ik woon in een klein dorpje vlakbij Amsterdam met mijn Franse Bulldog Jessy. Ik ben Rooms-Katholiek en nauw betrokken bij de Katholiek Charismatische Vernieuwing in Nederland.
Ezer Kenegdo is de God-gegeven basis waaruit ik leef en onderneem. Ik vind het leuk om te schrijven en na wat bemoedigingen heb ik besloten dit online te gaan publiceren. Met liefde deel ik de ideeën en kennis die God mij gegeven heeft. Op deze manier hoop ik jou te inspireren.
Deze website is tweetalig. Soms schrijf ik in het Nederlands en soms in het Engels. Mijn intentie is om alles in beide talen te publiceren, het kan zijn dat een artikel nog niet vertaald is. Dan moet je eventjes geduld hebben. Alles wat ik publiceer is vanuit mijn eigen ervaring en/of vanuit mijn eigen inzicht. Zoals ook in 1 Tessalonicenzen 5,21 staat, onderzoek alles en behoud het goede.

Update March 2021
Dear reader, my name is Lucas Carroll. I am Jimena’s husband and I feel it is necessary to post this update on Jimena’s website so people who visit know what has happened.
Back in 2018 Jimena started making some changes in her life to focus more on the Lord and it was also around this time she build this website to share some of her ideas. At the end of 2018 she started getting sick and got diagnosed with cancer. After months of intense therapy she got cleared and was full of hope, it was also around this time we started dating. Jimena and I had a short but very intense relationship and very quickly we knew we wanted to get married. Unfortunately the cancer returned in the beginning of 2020. However, we did not let this change our plans and continued with our wedding plans and prayed intensely for her healing.
On September 10th 2020 our dream came through and we got married before the Lord. Sadly, Jimena passed away days later and went to be with the Lord on September 17th 2020.
As sad as I and her other loved ones are, we rest assured in the fact that we will one day be reunited with Jimena in the presence of our savior.
I remember in the last moths of her life Jimena talking to me about her website and how proud she was at some of the messages she received, I think she even replied to most.
